Marina di Campo beach
Just 200 m from our hotel is the beach of Marina di Campo, the footpath leads through a small pine forest. This is the longest sandy beach on the island of Elba (1850 m long). The clear waters deepen only gradually, which is why it is particularly popular with families with children.
The beach overlooks the gulf of the same name, in the middle of the south side of the island of Elba, with the island of Montecristo on the horizon. The Marina di Campo beach is only affected by the south winds.
Marina di Campo offers free sandy beaches (free to use) and also bathing establishments with sun loungers. Marina di Campo also offers various options for sports enthusiasts: diving centers, sailing schools, windsurfing rentals and schools, boat and pedal boat rentals, guided kayak excursions. Bars and restaurants offer food and drink without having to leave the beach.
Right in front of the Hotel dei Coralli, the path that runs through the pine forest leads to the sea, where, behind the free beach, there are two bathing establishments.
Marina di Campo is bordered by two bays: Galenzana (sand) and Capo Fonza (stones). Both can be reached either by sea (also by pedal boat or canoe) or on foot, taking a pleasant walk along one of the well-marked paths that will take you into the Mediterranean scrub and offer you splendid views of the bay of Marina di Campo.
